B-PLAN competition.
How many times have you looked at famous businessmen, and wondered, “Wow!! I wish I were there, in his shoes!”? Many times would be our bet! But when we come down to reality we are absolutely confused! Sometimes we have ideas, vagues ones which need a little bit of help! So if you fall into the category of people who have a business idea but not sure how to proceed,and neither know how to write a b-plan and make a business model, come and participate in EUREKA 2k12 organized by SCINTILLATIONS, 2k12 and feel the change inside you. Not only a competition, but an event that will wake up the ENTREPRENEUR, the tycoon; INSIDE YOU!

RULES AND REGULATIONS

The event will be of TWO stages.
The two stages of the competition are as-

ROUND I - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (ABSTRACT) Submission
ROUND II - Face the BOARD, armed with your B-plan in Powerpoint Presentation format.

Each team can comprise of maximum FOUR members.
Teams can comprise of members from different streams and from different Colleges & Universities.
No individual member can be a part of more than one team at the same time.
The competition is open to all professionals & students. Students must be registered in any course (Diploma, UG & PG) in any college/University.
All submissions for the event must be mailed to eurekascintillations2k12@gmail.com.

EVENT FORMAT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (ABSTRACT) Submission

This round is the submission round and is completely online.
Teams are required to mail the Executive Summary of their business plans to eurekascintillations2k12@gmail.com
The Executive Summary must cover the following aspects in brief

Topic of the plan
Overview of the Company (Company’s Vision, mission Statement etc)
Market & Demand Analysis
Financials: Total Investment Required, Projected balance sheets in brief etc)
Competitor advantage
Future Prospects

In addition to the above aspects, additional points may be added.
The Executive Summary can be maximum 3 pages long. The format of submission is as follows:
Font: Times New Roman
Font Size: 12
The summary should be submitted in pdf format only.
The summary should include an additional cover page with the details of individual team members (Name, Institution Name, Phone no, Email ID, Institute ID No).The cover page would be detached prior to sending the hard copies for the selection of the finalists.
Last Date of Online Submission of plans is 27th March 2012, midnight.

FACE THE BOARD (Final Round)

On the basis of submissions, top six teams would qualify for the final round.
The Final round would be held at SCINTILLATIONS 2k12.
In the Final round, the team members are required to make powerpoint presentations in front of eminent judges
and panelists.
Time allotted for each presentation would be eight minutes followed by a Q&A round of two minutes from
the judges.
Laptops for the purpose of presentation would be provided at the venue at the time of presentation. However,
one should carry his/her own laptop for the purpose of editing, practice and other use.
Presentations are to be made in Microsoft Office Power point 2007.
Teams are encouraged to bring hard copies of their plans (with financials).
Teams can also include video clips, banners or recordings in their overall presentation keeping the time constraint
in mind.
Some suggestions for the presentation would be:

Company’s Vision
Business Management
Overview of Marketing & Sales.
Competitor Analysis- SWOT or PEST Analysis.
Business Operations
Financials-Projected Balance Sheets, Investment required, P&L Statements, Operating Expenses, etc)
Future Prospects
