If you really think you can, then BESU, Shibpur, invites you to participate in the “GD(Group Discussions Over Coffee)” at their annual EDC fest, Scintillations 2k12!
A cup of coffee to start with...
One can always ponder over the many aspects of the world while taking in the reeling aroma of coffee. And when one has a group of people around himself, all discussing on the same issue, it sure does add to the flavour!
One topic, different people, various ideologies, superimposing wavelengths - all destruct and construct to form ONE resonating tune which eventually leaves us with a winning conclusion.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Group members will treat each other with courtesy.
- Every group member will contribute to the best of their ability.
- Timelines for assignments will be closely adhered to.
- Everyone is encouraged to express their own opinion and to seriously consider the opinions of others.
- Cultural differences will be respected and members will make the effort to understand the cultural conventions of others.
- Inappropriate gestures while speaking or contributing to a ‘FISH-MARKET’ could lead to disqualification.
- MODERATORS of the Group Discussions’s verdicts are binding and final in all respects.
EVENT FORMAT
- SCREENING
- Depending on the number of participants, we shall divide them into groups of 8-12 people; from which the best few speakers would make it to the finals.
- FINALS
- Top 10 speakers from the prelims group discussions will battle it out for the top 3 positions, with the attractive prizes at stake.
